Online Technical Sales & Procurement Engineer

This full-time online position is for a Technical Sales & Procurement Engineer specializing in metallurgical and materials testing equipment. The role involves managing various aspects of the sales and procurement process, including selecting appropriate equipment, handling customer inquiries, coordinating with suppliers, preparing quotations, negotiating terms, overseeing delivery schedules, following up on procurement activities, and maintaining accurate reporting. The position requires working during the evening shift and offers a competitive salary range.

Key Responsibilities

- Select and recommend suitable metallurgical and materials testing equipment based on customer requirements.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, providing technical guidance and support.
- Coordinate effectively with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of equipment.
- Prepare detailed quotations and negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers and suppliers.
- Monitor and follow up on procurement processes to ensure smooth and timely execution.
- Oversee delivery coordination to guarantee that equipment reaches customers as scheduled.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports related to sales, procurement, and delivery activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as Metallurgical, Materials, Mechanical, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales and procurement, preferably within the metallurgical or materials testing equipment industry.
- Strong understanding of technical specifications and applications of metallurgical and materials testing equipment.
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to handle customer inquiries and internal coordination.
- Proficiency in preparing quotations, managing procurement workflows, and reporting.
