Operation Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the general operations of our branch network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, while maintaining high service standards. This role demands a proactive individual who can manage risks effectively and lead branch staff to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all general operations of the branch to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Ensure strict compliance with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations and Meezan Bank’s internal policies, including branch banking Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during all transactions and activities.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to all bank and regulatory policies by branch personnel.
- Identify and mitigate any unwarranted risks that may expose the bank to operational or financial losses.
- Maintain service standards and ensure transaction turnaround times (TAT) meet the bank’s prescribed benchmarks.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized institute or university.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the banking sector, including a minimum of 1 year in an Operations Manager role.

Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) regulations.
- Basic knowledge of foreign exchange manuals and customer onboarding frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification under the JAIBP (Joint Advanced International Banking Program) will be considered an advantage.
