Although not responsible for managing a team directly, the Vice Principal must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities to foster a supportive and productive educational environment within the Senior Section.
Responsibilities

Support the Principal in managing overall academic and administrative duties of the Senior Section.
Supervise and monitor teaching and learning processes to ensure adherence to academic standards.
Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching performance.
Monitor teacher performance, lesson planning, subject allocation, and manage workload distribution.
Ensure thorough implementation of the academic curriculum, school calendar, and institutional policies.
Oversee scheduling, administration, and evaluation of examinations, assessments, and student progress.
Supervise student discipline, attendance, behavior, and wellbeing according to school guidelines.
Coordinate effectively with teachers, coordinators, students, and parents to resolve academic and disciplinary issues.
Assist in organizing and promoting teacher training, mentoring, professional development, and performance enhancement.
Prepare and manage timetables, duty rosters, substitution plans, and academic schedules efficiently.
Analyze academic data and develop targeted intervention plans to foster student achievement and academic growth.
Ensure strict compliance with school policies and quality assurance procedures.
Address and manage parent concerns and complaints professionally in collaboration with the Principal.
Lead and coordinate various school events, academic activities, and co-curricular programs to enrich student experience.
Promote a positive, disciplined, and student-focused learning atmosphere within the Senior Section.
Participate in staff recruitment activities, including interviews, induction, and performance evaluations as necessary.
Respond effectively to urgent situations by making timely decisions and providing crisis management support.
Maintain clear and efficient communication channels between the Senior Section, administration, and Head Office.
Compile and submit detailed academic and performance reports to school management as required.
