This role does not involve team management but requires a proactive approach to collaborating within multidisciplinary groups and delivering high-quality code on schedule. As a Software Engineer at Paragon Marketing, you will be responsible for transforming requirements into functional software features, constantly improving existing applications, and participating in code reviews to drive technical excellence. You engage closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand business needs and implement scalable, reliable, and secure software components. Emphasis is placed on adaptability, continuous learning, and applying best practices in software development life cycles.
Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy software applications using industry-standard practices.
Participate actively in Agile development cycles, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional software.
Write clean, maintainable code and perform unit testing to ensure software quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze system requirements and resolve issues.
Maintain and improve existing software systems through refactoring and performance tuning.
Engage in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software defects and production issues.
Document software design, processes, and functionality for future reference and compliance.
Keep up to date with emerging technologies and apply new techniques to solve complex problems.
