Part-Time Professional Video Editor

Functions Global, based in Bufferzone, Main Rashid Minhas Road, Karachi, is looking for a skilled Professional Video Editor to join their team on a part-time, on-site basis. This role offers flexible working hours of 3 to 4 hours daily, with shifts available in the morning, afternoon, evening, or night. Ideal candidates will have 2 to 3 years of experience in video editing and be capable of producing high-quality video content tailored for social media, digital marketing, advertisements, and client projects. The position requires working independently while meeting deadlines, with a monthly salary ranging from PKR 30,000 to 40,000.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit professional reels, shorts, TikTok videos, and other social media content.
- Create promotional, business, user-generated content (UGC), and talking-head videos.
- Produce video advertisements for platforms such as Meta, Facebook, and Instagram, ensuring strong hooks and clear calls to action (CTAs).
- Incorporate captions, subtitles, text animations, transitions, B-roll footage, and basic motion graphics to enhance video quality.
- Perform color correction, basic grading, audio cleanup, and integrate music and sound effects.
- Maintain brand consistency across all video content and adapt videos into various formats as needed.
- Manage projects independently, delivering quality work within established deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Strong understanding of short-form content creation, storytelling techniques, pacing, and visual composition.
- Basic graphic design skills, including typography and branding principles.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant work samples is mandatory for application consideration.
