Pgs Security is seeking a reliable and professional Security Dispatcher/Control Room Operator to join our dedicated team for Night Shifts. This position requires effective communication skills to coordinate with security officers, supervisors, and clients, and to promptly respond to incidents and emergencies with calmness and precision. The role demands the ability to multitask efficiently, work nights and weekends, and follow established company procedures to ensure seamless control room operations. The professional will also be responsible for maintaining accurate logs, managing officer attendance, and ensuring proper shift handovers. This position does not involve managing a team but requires excellent organisational, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills to function effectively under pressure. Candidates should demonstrate a solid foundation in computer and IT skills and possess good communication abilities, including fluency in English and Urdu. Prior experience in security or control room environments and familiarity with call center or customer service roles is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with security officers, supervisors and clients.
- Monitor officer attendance and manage Book On/Book Off.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies promptly.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports.
- Coordinate officer cover and replacements when required.
- Handle calls, emails and control room enquiries professionally.
- Escalate issues to the relevant manager when required.
- Complete shift handovers and follow company procedures.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer, IT and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to remain calm and work under pressure.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Previous call centre/customer service experience is a plus.
- Flexible to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
