Planning Engineer

MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a reputable contracting firm specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works, is seeking a dedicated full-time Planning Engineer to join its on-site team in Karachi. As a sister company of IZHAR Construction Company Pvt Ltd., MEP Solutions offers comprehensive end-to-end services in the MEP sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are planned, monitored, and executed efficiently, meeting all technical and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed time schedules and budgets based on project specifications to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Observe and evaluate existing processes and staff performance, identifying and addressing any deficiencies.
- Monitor project progress closely and prepare regular reports to keep stakeholders informed.
- Attend and organize meetings as necessary to facilitate communication and coordination.
- Delegate tasks effectively and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with all contract requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain clear communication channels with managers, supervisors, contractors, suppliers, and other engineers.
- Analyze technical drawings to prepare accurate material and cost estimates.
- Manage resources efficiently, liaising with surveyors and other relevant parties to support project execution.
- Oversee day-to-day activities including work scheduling, budgeting, and identifying cost-effective solutions aligned with project goals.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in planning and project management within the construction or MEP industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Primavera scheduling software.
- Strong planning and project management skills with the ability to analyze complex technical data.
