Mern Stack Intern

PNY Trainings invites enthusiastic and motivated candidates to join as a Mern Stack Intern. This role is ideal for individuals who have recently completed or are currently enrolled in a MERN Stack Development course and possess fundamental knowledge of MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience developing modern, responsive, and scalable web applications by working on both frontend and backend technologies. Under guidance, you will collaborate with the team to build full-stack solutions that meet project requirements. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop practical skills, work on real-world projects, and grow professionally within a supportive environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), familiarity with Next.js concepts including routing, server-side rendering (SSR), and static site generation (SSG). You will be responsible for creating reusable frontend components, designing and managing databases, developing backend APIs, and integrating complete application stacks. This role requires problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic development setting. You will work independently and collaboratively with designers and developers to deliver quality software solutions while utilizing Git and GitHub for version control.
Responsibilities

Develop responsive and interactive web applications using React.js and Next.js ensuring user-friendly interfaces.
Build and maintain backend services and APIs with Node.js and Express.js following best practices and security standards.
Design, implement, and manage databases using MongoDB, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
Create and integrate RESTful APIs to connect frontend and backend components effectively.
Implement authentication, authorization, and secure application features to protect user data and application integrity.
Develop reusable, maintainable, and modular frontend components to optimize development and scalability.
Work with Next.js features including routing, server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes to enhance performance and SEO.
Collaborate with other developers and designers to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
Utilize Git and GitHub for source code management, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
Participate actively in code reviews, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster continuous learning and improvement.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices related to MERN stack development and contribute ideas to improve development processes.
