The Pricing and Operations Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. This role is responsible for managing freight pricing and overseeing daily operational activities. Key duties include preparing and reviewing quotations for air and sea freight, coordinating with carriers and agents to secure cost-effective and competitive rates, and supervising shipment execution. The officer will monitor customs clearance progress and maintain communication with internal teams and clients to ensure high service quality and timely delivery. Additional responsibilities involve tracking operational performance, supporting billing and cost analysis, updating pricing databases, and contributing to process improvements across freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review accurate quotations for air and sea freight services.
- Coordinate with carriers, agents, and internal teams to ensure competitive pricing and smooth operations.
- Oversee shipment execution and monitor customs clearance for inbound, outbound, and transshipment cargo.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and vendors to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Track operational performance metrics and support billing and cost analysis activities.
- Update and maintain pricing databases to reflect current market rates.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements within freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation operations.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and financial skills to manage pricing, cost calculations, margin analysis, and freight rate comparisons.
- Solid operations management capabilities to coordinate shipments, monitor logistics workflows, and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, or transportation operations is highly advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic business software applications.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and pricing records.
