Program Intern

SECOURS ISLAMIQUE FRANCE (SIF) is an international non-governmental organization dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance and development aid worldwide. Since 1991, SIF has been working across more than 20 countries.

In Pakistan, we have been actively serving vulnerable communities and marginalized groups since 2010 by providing humanitarian assistance during emergencies and supporting them through the implementation of sustainable development programs in the areas of Child Protection & Child Wellbeing, WASH, Food Security & Livelihoods, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Education during both early recovery and development phases.

SIF is currently providing its services in all provinces of Pakistan, including Sindh, Punjab, Baluchistan, and KPK, and has a presence in 33 of the most vulnerable districts. In light of increasing challenges such as inflation, illiteracy, poverty, and climate change, as well as their association with limited and shrinking resources, SIF believes that there is a high need for enhanced collaboration between NGOs and government institutions. SIF is fully confident that by sharing experiences, innovations, and lessons learned under such coordination, we can collectively improve the well-being of children and alleviate the miseries of the communities across Pakistan.

CHILD SAFEGUARDING

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Objective 1: Program Implementation Support

Support the implementation of livelihood and vocational training activities in the field.
Assist in beneficiary registration, verification, and documentation processes.
Coordinate with trainers and beneficiaries during project activities.
Support distribution activities and maintain accurate distribution records.
Ensure attendance sheets and beneficiary documentation are properly maintained.
Follow and implement organizational policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.

Objective 2: Documentation and Record Keeping

Maintain an organized filing system for all project-related documents. Ensure proper documentation of training, meetings, and field activities.
Scan and archive project documents and beneficiary records.
Support data entry and updating of project database and Excel trackers.
Prepare and maintain attendance sheets, registration forms, and beneficiary files.
Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and easily accessible.
Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of project information.

Objective 3: Field Coordination and External Dealing

Assist in preparing activity plans and field visit schedules.
Support monitoring of field activities and report implementation challenges to the supervisor.
Provide logistical support during workshops, distributions, and community events.
Be adaptable and flexible to take on new assignments as requested by the supervisor.
Ensure respectful and professional interaction with beneficiaries at all times.
