This role involves managing project teams to ensure the timely delivery of project components while maintaining high standards. The position requires developing workflows, guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to data management, quality assurance, and dashboard operations. The successful candidate will oversee the creation, validation, and integration of spatial datasets, ensuring their accuracy, consistency, and interoperability. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned project teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project standards.
- Develop workflows, guidelines, and SOPs for data management, quality assurance, and dashboard operations.
- Oversee the creation, validation, and integration of spatial datasets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and interoperability.
- Supervise quality assurance processes for GIS dashboards, implement standards, and maintain data quality and compliance.
- Coordinate with developers, database administrators, and other project stakeholders for seamless integration of technical modules.
- Monitor project progress, prepare detailed reports, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Build capacity and provide technical guidance to project staff members.
- Automate GIS workflows and tasks to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing GIS or spatial data projects with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of spatial data creation, validation, and integration techniques.
- Expertise in developing and implementing workflows, guidelines, and SOPs related to data management and QA.
- Proficiency in GIS dashboard development and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with technical teams including developers and database administrators.
- Experience in monitoring project progress and reporting to senior management.
- Skills in automating GIS workflows to enhance efficiency.
