The Project Management Executive role within the PMO - Infrastructure department is based at the Head Office in Karachi and is a full-time, onsite position. This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of telecom and civil infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for project scheduling, stakeholder coordination, cost control, vendor management, and contract administration to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. A strong blend of project management skills and technical knowledge of network and infrastructure environments is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, customers, contractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Manage project scope, identify and mitigate risks, track performance, and prepare status reports using appropriate project management tools and methodologies.
- Support contract administration activities including bid evaluations, procurement documentation, and vendor management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimation, bill verification, budget monitoring, and payment processing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, dashboards, and ensure clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in project coordination, infrastructure projects, quantity surveying, or contract management.
- Strong understanding of telecom networks, transmission media, and infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of BOQs, cost control measures, procurement processes, and vendor management practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills, and experience with MS Project, Primavera, or similar project management software. Familiarity with AutoCAD or BIM tools is considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and multitasking abilities.
