As part of the Programmes Support Unit and under the direct supervision of the Human Resource Manager the incumbent of the post will have the following responsibilities:

Main Tasks

  • The Human Resources Officer is responsible for recruitment and retention efforts and employee administration.
  • Work closely with the HR Manager to ensure timely and effective recruitment of qualified candidates, according to Organization policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate in recruitment process, including; contacting short-listed candidates for testing and interviews, conducting tests and interviews, completing of all HR-related forms for new hires within the first month of their joining, and assist in orientation for new staff.
  • Maintain a database of employment examinations and interviews.
  • Prepare all personnel and administrative related correspondences (job offer letters, employment contracts, promotions, transfers, retirement resignation and others)
  • Ensure that personnel files for all staff are actively maintained, up-to-date, and in accordance with Organization HR policies & procedures.
  • Ensure that all the leaves are properly recorded and are in accordance to the time sheets submitted.
