We are a well-established contracting group specializing in steel structures, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), and fabrication. Our Gujranwala office plays a vital role in supporting ongoing projects in Saudi Arabia and other international locations. We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor cum Estimation Engineer to join our team. This position is office-based in Gujranwala and focuses on quantity surveying and estimation tasks related to our Saudi projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project billing, and ensuring that all financial documentation aligns with project progress and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on drawings and tender documents.
- Develop cost estimates and tender pricing for projects.
- Conduct rate analysis for materials, labor, and subcontracted items.
- Prepare monthly progress bills and interim payment certificates (IPCs).
- Measure completed work and reconcile quantities with site records.
- Prepare variation and change order claims supported by detailed calculations.
- Compile final accounts and manage project billing closeout.
- Compare client BOQs against actual quantities and report any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with project and design teams to resolve quantity and cost-related queries.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Between 2 to 5 years of practical experience in quantity surveying, billing, or estimation within construction or contracting environments.
- Strong expertise in BOQ preparation, measurement, and IPC billing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to accurately read and measure quantities from technical drawings.
- Clear written English skills suitable for professional emails and report writing.
- Availability to work full-time from the Gujranwala office.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with AutoCAD or specialized measurement software is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Saudi or Gulf contract billing formats is a plus.
- Prior exposure to steel, PEB, or industrial projects is beneficial; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview conducted either via Google Meet or in person. The monthly salary range for this role is Rs70,000 to Rs130,000. The work location is in person at our Gujranwala office.
