We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor with expertise in tendering, rate analysis, and cost estimation for construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), evaluating tenders, managing project costs, and ensuring precise quantity measurements and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires close collaboration with project teams to maintain financial control and support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on project drawings and specifications.
- Conduct quantity take-offs for civil, structural, and architectural works accurately.
- Develop detailed cost estimates and perform comprehensive rate analyses.
- Prepare, review, and submit tender documents within established deadlines.
- Analyze tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents thoroughly to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to support procurement decisions.
- Compare vendor quotations and prepare detailed bid evaluation reports.
- Prepare project budgets and continuously monitor costs to maintain financial control throughout the project.
- Verify contractor and subcontractor bills along with payment certificates for accuracy.
- Prepare variation orders, claims, and final accounts as required during project execution.
- Monitor material consumption and project quantities to prevent discrepancies and wastage.
- Coordinate effectively with project managers, consultants, procurement teams, and site personnel to ensure smooth project progress.
- Maintain accurate cost records and prepare periodic cost reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and industry standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Sc.) or a Diploma in Civil Engineering (DAE) with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in tendering, rate analysis, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.
- Experience working on high-rise buildings, residential, commercial, or industrial projects is highly preferred.

- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles and construction methodologies.
- Excellent understanding of tendering procedures and contract administration.
- Proficiency in rate analysis, cost estimation, and budgeting techniques.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with AutoCAD and ERP or Quantity Surveying software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
- Preferred age range: 28 to 40 years.
- Monthly salary range: Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 130,000.
- Work location: On-site (in person).
