The IT Manager oversees an organization’s information technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations. This role ensures the secure, efficient, and reliable functioning of all technology systems, supports business objectives, and leads the IT team in delivering high-quality technical services. The IT Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining hardware, software, networks, and cybersecurity measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy aligned with business goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve technology systems, processes, and performance.
- Plan and manage IT budgets, resource allocation, and technology investments.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.
- Ensure system availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Manage cloud services, servers, storage, and enterprise applications.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity policies, controls, and best practices.
- Manage data protection, disaster recovery, and backup procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO standards)
- Establish and track service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and knowledge bases.
