We are a fast-growing FMCG group in Malawi, Africa, operating multiple production units including cookies, milk powder, tea, and bakery. Our cookie factory is expanding, and we are looking for a skilled Food Technologist with hands-on production experience in cookies or industrial bakery to relocate from Pakistan to Africa (Malawi)
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Optimize cookie recipes for cost, consistency, and shelf life.
- Standardize baking parameters and reduce production waste.
- Work on the factory floor to ensure batch consistency and staff training.
- Develop new cookie variants for the market.
- Oversee food safety, hygiene, and basic documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement and management for smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Food Technology or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in cookie, biscuit, or bakery production.
- Strong knowledge of baking ingredients and industrial processes.
- Floor-level, hands-on production experience (not lab-only roles).
- Willingness to relocate to Malawi on a long-term basis.
