The role requires 4 years of relevant experience and offers an opportunity to contribute to operational improvements and cost control. Although team management is not involved, the candidate must work independently and take responsibility for the entire import and export operation cycle.
Responsibilities

Manage full lifecycle import and export operations, ensuring smooth coordination from order placement to final delivery.
Prepare, review, and maintain all necessary trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
Collaborate closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and customs authorities to secure timely shipment clearance.
Track shipments actively to monitor booking statuses, transit progress, customs clearance, and final delivery to destinations.
Ensure adherence to import and export compliance requirements, including trade regulations and customs laws.
Identify and resolve any issues related to shipment delays, inaccurate documentation, or logistics that may affect delivery timelines or costs.
Maintain accurate records and generate detailed reports on import/export transactions, shipping costs, and operational performance for management review.
Coordinate with internal departments such as procurement, finance, and warehouse teams to align shipment schedules, purchase orders, and payment processes.
Maintain strong business relationships with international suppliers and customers to facilitate seamless trade operations and open communication channels.
Implement process improvements aimed at reducing operational delays, minimizing costs, and enhancing shipment tracking accuracy.
Stay informed about the latest changes in international trade regulations, customs policies, and shipping practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Demonstrate ownership and proactive management of import/export logistics without direct team management responsibilities.
Be prepared to travel when necessary to meet with suppliers, shipping partners, or attend trade-related activities.
Support ad-hoc tasks related to import and export functions as assigned by management.
