Recruit AI is seeking a highly motivated Research, Sourcing & Special Projects specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive market and competitor research, identify suitable manufacturers and suppliers, and manage various sourcing activities to support product development and business growth. You will utilize strategic planning and project management skills to coordinate multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met and solutions are implemented efficiently. Your work will involve extensive use of AI tools to enhance research accuracy, streamline communication, and drive informed decision-making. This position requires excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to handle diverse tasks such as preparing requests for quotations, coordinating sample testing, and maintaining communication with international partners. Although this role does not include managing a team, it demands the independent management of multiple projects to contribute effectively to the companys goals. The successful candidate must be comfortable engaging with business contacts worldwide and adapt to working hours overlapping with the UK business schedule.
Responsibilities

Conduct detailed market, competitor, product, and commercial research to gather relevant data that supports business strategies.
Identify and establish contact with manufacturers, suppliers, laboratories, consultants, and partner organizations to develop a reliable network.
Prepare and distribute requests for quotations (RFQs) while collecting and comparing quotations, minimum order quantities (MOQs), lead times, and terms to ensure optimal procurement decisions.
Coordinate the management of samples, documents, certifications, product specifications, and testing requirements to facilitate smooth sourcing operations.
Perform Amazon and e-commerce marketplace research and competitor analysis to extract actionable insights for product positioning and pricing strategies.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines, dependencies, and follow-ups to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Identify potential roadblocks or challenges early in project lifecycles and proactively develop effective solutions to mitigate risks.
Verify all gathered information from credible and trustworthy sources to maintain integrity and accuracy in reporting.
Coordinate meetings with suppliers and partners, documenting decisions and action items to assure clear communication and accountability.
Compile concise and comprehensive research findings along with recommendations for review by the companys Founder and leadership team.
Leverage advanced AI tools, including ChatGPT, to accelerate research processes, enhance analysis, improve communication, and support overall project execution.
Maintain professional communication through telephone and digital channels with domestic and international business contacts, representing the company with professionalism.
Ensure a reliable remote work setup with consistent internet connectivity and a professional environment to support efficient workflow and collaboration.
Work flexibly to accommodate UK business hours, ensuring timely coordination with the broader team and stakeholders.
