• Troubleshooting and coordinate any IT equipment or software maintenance activities for employees as needed.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose problems, implement corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines/ SOPs and/or escalates to other technical resources as appropriate.
  • Ensure smooth bandwidth flow across the DEOC Office, manage and report to IT Manager as per SOP
  • Support program staff of the DEOC Office with day to day IT support.
  • Regular monitoring of all hardware, software and systems to ensure they remain updated.
  • Installation and configuration of all IT equipment and software
  • Repairing and replacing any IT equipment/ software
  • Propose innovative and subsequently coordinate the management of IT security for users (i.e. anti-virus software, firewalls etc.)
  • Implement and monitor policy for firewall to ensure security and efficient use of network.
  • Manage, Test and update Video conferencing equipment regularly.
  • Facilitate in all meetings, in-house and online.
  • Facilitate and support in all trainings conducted in DEOC Office.
  • Ensure all IT equipment running to its standard technical specifications.
  • Test programs as and when require, assist team in ERP process.
  • Report to IT manager weekly as per SOPs 
  • Support the development of effective, cost efficient and a workable framework across the office with the objective of improving the overall IT infrastructure.
  • Prepare budget for maintenance of IT equipment in consultation with OFM.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to ensure services are provided as per agreed SLA’s and TATs (i.e. internet provider, telephone, cellular, video conferencing, email service provider)
  • Review reports at the end of SLA activity and suggest resolution technically.
  • Assist AO in procurement process for technical feedback.
  • Track, monitor and report KPI’s, MIS and outstanding issues to management to ensure awareness of issues.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor (s).
