The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, deploying, and managing enterprise automation solutions. The primary focus is to migrate existing Autosphere automation processes to an in-house RPA platform while ensuring seamless business continuity. This role involves close collaboration with business, IT, and data teams to transform manual and semi-automated workflows into secure, scalable, and intelligent end-to-end processes. The engineer will also support the integration of AI agents and intelligent automation capabilities to enhance productivity across various business functions. During the initial 12-month contract, the emphasis will be on stabilizing automation operations, establishing governance, and maintaining service levels without disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete migration of existing Autosphere processes to an in-house RPA platform, ensuring no loss of business coverage.
- Inventory, assess, and prioritize automation processes for migration and improvement.
- Re-engineer workflows where necessary, rebuild bots, conduct testing, manage cutover activities, and decommission legacy bots.
- Identify, analyze, and document business processes suitable for RPA and AI-driven automation.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate, n8n, UiPath, Autosphere, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or equivalents.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and define automation workflows.
- Map current as-is processes, identify automation opportunities, and design optimized to-be workflows.
- Develop and integrate AI agents to boost productivity across teams and business units.
- Work with datasets to support data preparation, model training, validation, optimization, and performance evaluation.
- Integrate AI models and agents with automation workflows and enterprise systems to deliver intelligent end-to-end solutions.
- Manage daily RPA operations, including orchestration, scheduling, credential management, monitoring, logging, and infrastructure capacity planning.
- Maintain and monitor deployed bots to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance efficiency.
- Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and enhance automation solutions based on user feedback and performance metrics.
- Document RPA processes, AI/ML workflows, system integrations, and operational procedures thoroughly.
- Ensure compliance with information security, data privacy, governance, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation and increase adoption of automation and AI solutions.
- Continuously evaluate emerging RPA, workflow automation, and agentic AI technologies and recommend improvements.
- Enforce strict controls to ensure bots and AI agents operate within approved systems, access levels, and security protocols.
