Responsibilities
Assist in preparing accurate financial accounts and records for UK clients under supervision.
Perform bookkeeping activities, including recording daily financial transactions and maintaining ledgers.
Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with UK tax regulations.
Utilize accounting software to manage client accounting data effectively and efficiently.
Conduct basic financial analyses to assist senior accountants in evaluating client financial situations.
Maintain organized documentation and reports to support audits and financial reviews.
Collaborate with the team to stay updated on changes in UK tax laws and accounting standards.
Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information and clarify queries.
Continuously develop personal knowledge of UK accounting principles, VAT regulations, and taxation through learning resources and on-the-job experience.
Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filings where applicable.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and manage spreadsheets that support financial reporting and analysis.
Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements in handling client information.
