Health Safety Officer (HSE)

Royal Fans is seeking a dedicated Health Safety Officer (HSE) to join our team and lead efforts in maintaining a safe and compliant workplace. In this role, you will manage a team of 10 personnel to implement and uphold HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards across all company operations. Your focus will be on identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met to protect employees and the environment. As a key safety leader, you will oversee workplace safety inspections, incident investigations, and emergency preparedness activities. You will conduct safety orientations and toolbox talks to foster a safety-conscious culture, while monitoring compliance with personal protective equipment and fire safety systems. The role requires a proactive individual who can maintain accurate HSE documentation and coordinate emergency responses effectively to minimize risk and enhance overall organizational safety.
Responsibilities

Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and detailed risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop corrective action plans.
Lead and manage a team of 10 HSE professionals to ensure consistent safety practices and effective communication of safety protocols across all departments.
Monitor employee compliance with the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to established safety requirements.
Organize and conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training sessions to educate employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses meticulously, identifying root causes and recommending preventive measures.
Maintain comprehensive HSE records, including inspection reports, incident documentation, and compliance checklists to ensure traceability and accountability.
Monitor fire safety systems, emergency exits, evacuation procedures, and coordinate regular emergency drills to promote preparedness and swift response.
Collaborate with environmental management teams to ensure workplace practices align with environmental protection standards and sustainability goals.
Continuously review and update safety programs and procedures to align with evolving regulations and industry best practices.
Provide timely reports and feedback to senior management regarding safety performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
