The Quality Control Manager drives continuous improvement efforts and implements quality management systems tailored to the unique demands of steel furniture production. This role involves close collaboration with production teams to maintain strict compliance with safety and durability standards. Expertise in analyzing production processes and executing corrective actions ensures that the final products consistently meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. The manager will also develop and enforce detailed quality documentation procedures, perform rigorous testing at various manufacturing stages, and foster a culture of quality excellence across the organization. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of three quality control professionals to ensure consistent application of quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Inspect raw materials and monitor their compliance with predetermined quality specifications before production.
- Oversee and control metal fabrication processes such as welding, bending, and powder coating to guarantee the integrity and durability of finished products.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality procedures and regulatory standards.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, defects, and potential areas for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance certificates.
- Establish and enforce testing protocols to assess the safety, functionality, and finish of steel furniture products across different production stages.
- Train and mentor quality control staff on best practices, compliance requirements, and new quality methodologies.
- Communicate quality objectives and updates to senior management and coordinate quality audits with external regulators when necessary.
- Promote a quality-focused culture within the manufacturing team by leading initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure material quality aligns with company standards and initiate corrective actions as required.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and standards related to steel furniture manufacturing and quality control.
