We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the dental manufacturing sector or a related industry. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for streamlining production processes, identifying and addressing errors, making quick and informed decisions, and keeping the production hierarchy informed of progress and challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate production activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Streamline production processes to optimize workflow and maximize productivity.
- Monitor production lines to identify and address any errors or issues promptly.
- Make quick and informed decisions to resolve production-related problems and minimize downtime.
- Train and mentor production staff to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
- Keep the production hierarchy informed of progress, challenges, and any significant developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the dental manufacturing sector or a related industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to make quick and informed decisions.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
