Senior Assistant – Institute for Educational Development
Location: Karachi, Pakistan

This position is grant-funded and contractual in nature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive calendar for meetings to ensure smooth scheduling and coordination.
- Communicate effectively with project team members and other stakeholders regarding upcoming events and activities.
- Take detailed notes and prepare accurate minutes during meetings.
- Prepare work schedules and travel plans for the project team to facilitate timely and organized operations.
- Arrange necessary resources such as stationery for meetings and other events.
- Assist the Programme Coordinator in organizing events, including managing logistics and communication tasks.
- Support the Project Coordinator, Programme Lead, and Team Leads by obtaining and preparing relevant documents for review.
- Attend events such as training sessions and workshops as required to provide on-site assistance.
- Undertake additional tasks assigned by supervisors, Programme Lead, Team Leads, and team members to support project objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree from a reputable national or international university is essential; higher qualifications will be considered an advantage.
- At least one year of relevant experience, preferably involving day-to-day project operations and administrative support.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Urdu.
- Proven ability to prepare detailed work schedules and travel itineraries.
- Experience in organizing events, including handling logistics and communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
