Senior Backend Engineer | ERP & CRM Specialist - TJ / 1902229

Our client, 360 Emarket, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in ERP and CRM systems to join their technology team in Karachi. This is an office-based, on-site position requiring a professional with over five years of experience in backend and web development, as well as enterprise system integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable, high-performance web applications and backend services. They will also customize ERP and CRM solutions to support various business functions, including sales, finance, inventory management, and human resources.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that support dynamic web applications and enterprise platforms.
- Customize and configure ERP and CRM modules to optimize workflows across sales, finance, inventory control, and HR processes.
- Integrate backend services with responsive web frontends using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Develop and maintain efficient, secure, and scalable database schemas, writing optimized SQL queries to maintain data integrity and performance.
- Build and maintain Python automation scripts and tools that streamline business processes, reduce manual efforts, and improve operational efficiency.
- Design, develop, and integrate mobile applications that securely connect to backend services and ERP/CRM systems.
- Develop AI-powered intelligent agentic workflows and automation to enable AI agents to perform business tasks and interact with enterprise systems.
- Collaborate closely with US-based teams during night shifts aligned with U.S. Eastern/Pacific business hours, providing timely support, updates, and troubleshooting assistance.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve production issues and system bottlenecks to ensure high system availability and performance.
- Document technical designs, solutions, and processes clearly for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices related to backend engineering, ERP/CRM platforms, automation, and AI integration.

Required Qualifications

- Over five years of professional experience in backend development and web technologies.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, PHP, and C#.
- Expertise in ERP and CRM system customization and integration.
- Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with database management, including designing schemas and writing optimized SQL queries.
- Proven ability to develop automation workflows using Python.
- Familiarity with mobile app integration and backend connectivity.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with international teams, especially during night shifts aligned with U.S. business hours.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a focus on maintaining system reliability and uptime.
