Senior Electrical Construction Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Construction Engineer with at least 10 years of professional experience in electrical construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate all electrical works on-site, ensuring they meet tender specifications and project requirements. This role demands a hands-on approach to supervising the quality and timely execution of electrical installations, while maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Monitor the quality of electrical installations, including LV power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, ELV systems, fire alarms, and containment.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and testing reports.
- Collaborate closely with MEP teams to ensure seamless coordination across disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and local authority regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams and subcontractors.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to electrical construction promptly to avoid project delays.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to electrical works and inspections.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical construction, preferably involving large building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of LV power distribution, lighting systems, earthing and lightning protection, ELV systems, fire alarms, containment, and MEP coordination.
- Proven experience in reviewing and managing shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and testing reports.
- Solid understanding of international and local standards and codes such as IEC, BS, NFPA, and relevant local authority regulations.
