Senior SEO Strategist

YalaRide, a global car rental aggregator and marketplace, is looking for a Senior SEO Strategist to lead its SEO team at the Lahore office. This full-time, on-site position requires a hands-on leader who will take full ownership of SEO efforts for a large, international service-based marketplace. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and executing SEO strategies that drive improvements in search rankings, organic traffic, and conversions across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the comprehensive SEO strategy, including technical SEO, content development, local SEO, and off-page initiatives for a complex, multi-country marketplace. Manage and mentor a team of SEO specialists by defining clear KPIs, establishing efficient workflows, and ensuring high-quality standards. Perform enterprise-level technical SEO audits focusing on crawl and index optimization, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data, hreflang tags, and international targeting. Conduct advanced keyword research and develop content strategies tailored to various marketplace verticals such as city and country pages, car class pages, operator pages, and blog resources. Oversee local and international SEO efforts, including management of Google Business Profiles where applicable, creation of geo-targeted content, and implementation of multi-language SEO. Design and execute white-hat link-building and digital PR campaigns to strengthen domain authority. Utilize Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console to monitor SEO performance, troubleshoot issues, and deliver regular reports to leadership.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of proven SEO experience with a track record of measurable improvements in search rankings, organic traffic, and conversion rates on large websites. Strong expertise working with international, service-based marketplaces, online travel agencies (OTAs), or travel platforms with a global reach is essential. Deep knowledge of technical SEO, including crawl budget management, faceted navigation, JavaScript SEO, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals optimization. Advanced skills in keyword research, content strategy, and building topical authority. Demonstrated success in local SEO, including managing Google Business Profiles, local citations, and geo-targeted landing pages. Proven experience in white-hat link-building and digital PR with high-quality referring domains. Expert proficiency in Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, along with familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or Sitebulb. Excellent English communication skills are required. Candidates must be able to present concrete case studies and data-backed results from previous roles.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience leading SEO teams of three or more direct reports in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable. Background in travel, car rental, marketplace, or OTA SEO with multi-country implementations will be an advantage. Relevant certifications such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs are preferred.

The monthly salary range for this role is Rs100,000 to Rs200,000. This position requires on-site work at the Lahore office.
