We are looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer who brings a solid foundation in manual testing along with practical experience in test automation. The ideal candidate is eager to explore and apply AI tools to improve testing efficiency and product quality. This role suits someone who goes beyond conventional test cases and is passionate about developing reliable, scalable testing systems within a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute a variety of tests including functional, regression, API, and exploratory testing to ensure high-quality product releases. Develop and maintain automation suites for UI and API testing using frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and rapid deployment. Perform API validation and conduct basic database checks using SQL queries. Work closely with developers in Agile sprint cycles to align testing efforts with development objectives. Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, and test-generation software to create smarter test cases, enhance automation scripts, speed up debugging and root-cause analysis, and improve test documentation.
Required Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in QA, covering both manual and automation testing. Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python. Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipeline integration. Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured. A curious mindset toward AI and a willingness to experiment with AI-assisted testing workflows.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working with SaaS or enterprise-level products is a plus. Familiarity with performance testing methodologies is advantageous. Background in building or improving automation frameworks is highly valued.
