Senior Specialist, Performance (Courier Pricing)

We are currently looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented professional to join our regional logistics team as a Senior Specialist, Performance (Courier Pricing). In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, analyzing, and optimizing rider payment and incentive strategies across 16 diverse markets. Acting as a vital link between strategic business objectives and operational execution, you will treat rider incentives as a key lever to improve earnings, enhance fleet satisfaction, and boost overall logistics performance—all while ensuring financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

- Incentive Strategy & Governance: Define and optimize rider payment and incentive models. Develop frameworks that harmonize incentive strategies across multiple markets, allowing for necessary local adaptations while maintaining consistency and financial discipline. Ensure payment models align with broader business goals, logistics KPIs such as delivery time, and rider satisfaction.

- Financial Impact & Cost Efficiency: Continuously evaluate the financial implications of payment models and monitor cost-per-order (CPO) trends. Ensure incentive structures support profitability targets while maintaining adequate rider supply and fleet retention.

- Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in rider payments and logistics operations. Translate complex data into actionable strategic recommendations.

- Rollout of Models & Automation: Lead the regional implementation of advanced data science models and automated tools designed to optimize rider payments and operational efficiency.

- Initiative Rollout & Innovation: Challenge existing processes by introducing innovative techniques to improve rider payment systems. Support the testing and deployment of new pay components such as dynamic pricing, surge models, and quest incentives aimed at enhancing logistics performance and order acceptance rates.

- Product Collaboration: Partner with Delivery Hero’s Central Product team to influence the development of payment-related features. Translate business requirements into product requests, participate in testing, and ensure successful adoption of new capabilities across the region.

- Stakeholder Management & Market Partnership: Collaborate closely with operations, finance, product, and local logistics teams. Build strong relationships with market stakeholders to understand their challenges, implement refined incentive structures, and drive scalable solutions.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in high-growth technology companies, logistics, strategy consulting, or investment banking. Experience in the gig economy, marketplace dynamics, or logistics is highly advantageous.

- University degree in STEM, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.

- Strong technical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Looker to independently analyze data, generate insights, and build robust models.

- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable challenging the status quo and negotiating with senior stakeholders and leadership.
