Position: HR & Office Administrator
Location: Loughton, Essex Salary: £20K – £25K
We have an exciting new opportunity for an HR Administrator to join our fast-paced HR department. The successful candidate will be working closely with the management team; Resourcing to ensure a high-quality HR service is delivered to all areas of the business. This role is varied and interesting role to further develop HR career.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Recruitment
ü Work closely with the management team to support with the recruitment for the company
ü Update and distribute the vacancies as requested
ü Responsible for periodically checking the company website and relevant job boards are up to date with current vacancies
ü Manage the candidate management system for any relevant role in order to screen and respond to candidates in a timely manner
ü Check screening & vetting records of employees
ü Prepare personnel files for internal & external audits
ü Co-ordinate interviews as required
New Starter Process
ü Complete all administration requirements for new starters to the company. Ensuring offer letters, contracts and new starter packs are sent to new starters within the relevant timescales
ü Conduct inductions as and when required
ü Send out probation review reminders to Line Managers and escalate any issues when appropriate
Training
ü Support by printing all relevant documentation required for the day and co-facilitating sessions as and when required.
Employee Relations
ü Manage uniform requests
ü Answer HR queries relating to company policies and procedures
ü Manage all employees’ files ensuring they are correct and up to date with the revenant standards
Leaver Process
ü Support with the leavers form completion for all employees and sent to Payroll within the relevant timescales
ü Conduct exit interviews employees exiting the business when requested
ü Record, summarise and analysis all leaver exit interview feedback presenting findings to the business
General Administration and Ad Hoc Duties
ü The production of monthly HR stats ensuring that these are done on time and are accurate.
ü Assist with ad hoc projects and duties when required
ü Take minutes for meetings as and when required
ü Support with social committee and events across the business
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential
ü Previous exposure to a HR department through previous employment or internship
ü A passion to develop a career in HR
ü A can-do attitude and confidence to work across a few HR areas including Employee Relations.
ü Ability to build effective relationships with Line Managers and employees at all levels of the business
ü Excellent IT skills particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
ü Excellent organization and time management skills
ü Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
ü Ability to work confidentially at all times
ü Highly accurate with attention to detail
