The company is seeking a skilled Business Development Officer to drive business growth and improve collaboration with various stakeholders. This role is based in Karachi and requires an individual with at least two years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with hospitals, healthcare professionals, and pharmaceutical companies to expand the companys market presence.
As the Business Development Officer, you will manage a small team of two personnel, coordinating efforts to identify new business opportunities and optimize existing partnerships. You will play a key role in implementing sales strategies and conducting thorough market research and analysis to support informed decision-making. Delivering measurable outcomes and enhancing SMSs position in the healthcare distribution sector is central to this role. SMS offers a competitive remuneration package to the selected candidate.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to increase business revenue and market share in the healthcare sector.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential new markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, healthcare professionals, and pharmaceutical companies to foster collaboration and increase business opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and optimize client satisfaction.
- Lead and manage a team of two members, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve business targets.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to senior management and stakeholders to communicate progress and business insights.
- Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly and maintain a competitive edge.
- Analyze business performance data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and partnerships that support long-term business growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations departments to align business development initiatives with company goals.
