The Facilitation Center Coordinator at Shifa Foundation plays a crucial role in managing and streamlining activities within the facilitation center focused on health and nutrition initiatives. This position requires someone with at least two to three years of relevant experience in the health and nutrition sector, capable of coordinating resources, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth operation of events and programs. The coordinator oversees a team of two persons, guiding and supporting them to achieve the foundation's objectives in delivering impactful services and programs. In this role, the coordinator is the central point of contact for vendors, team members, and external partners, responsible for meticulous event planning and execution. The position demands strong organizational skills, effective team facilitation, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently. The incumbent actively collaborates with various departments to ensure resources are allocated efficiently and all activities align with the foundation’s mission and values.
Responsibilities

  • Oversee the smooth functioning of the designated BNP FC by maintaining effective and efficient coordination with team ensuring adherence to the BNP Programme protocols.
  • Coordinate with the Health Facility in-charge (Medical Superintendent) on emerging challenges and MNCH and EPI related referrals.
  • Ensure verification and enrolment of BISP beneficiaries in the programme through an android application following BNP’s guidelines and protocols.
  • Ensure beneficiaries are provided with all BNP services, including proper handling of information, recording process facilitation, food as per protocols and awareness session.
  • Maintain liaison with district authorities, district health department, district administration, UC secretaries, BISP representatives, and ensure coordination with LHWs.
  • Properly estimate the food requirements for the month, share timely through agreed channels and maintain proper record of all food commodities (SNF/RUTF/IFA etc.).
  • Issue stock/food as per guidelines and protocols and update information in app of stock viewer, daily consumption report and ensure safety of food. Ensure daily online reporting on “Partner Connect” and other apps agreed as per programme requirements.
  • Share timely issues related to theft, mishandling of stock and issues reported by beneficiaries to higher management.
  • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly FC level report(s), entailing the required details on provided formats in an efficient manner.
  • Consolidate data on daily basis pertaining to inactive cases, due follow-ups, graduated, and exit cases and share, following channels of reporting, as per frequency agreed.
  • Track CP’s FC level inventories including checks on Furniture, ICT, Electronic, Anthropometric equipment and etc. timely report any losses or damages. Liaison with CP’s PMU for repair and maintenance services required time to time.
  • Coordinate with the CP staff on the BNP visibility material, including BFB Banners, Public Notices, BNP Programme guidelines and SBCC messages.
  • Coordinate with Outreach partner designated official for data cross sharing on indicators agreed for enrolled beneficiaries, due follow up cases and black, red and yellow cases.
  • Train and guide the team members on BNP protocols, ensuring safety of beneficiaries during enrolment process (avoiding hazards), proper seating of FC facilitating-beneficiaries and ensuring all BNP services package is complete before generating payment.
  • Report timely any issue/s related to BNP services, FC functioning and related services ensuring smooth implementation of Programme activities and FC functions and share resolution of issues.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor/WFP Programme Focal Point.
  • Any other official task assigned by the line manager.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Social Sciences, Management, or related field.
