We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dialysis Technician to join our healthcare team. The Dialysis Technician is responsible for operating dialysis machines, preparing patients for dialysis treatment, and ensuring safe, effective care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong technical ability, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and set up dialysis machines and equipment.
Insert and remove needles for patients receiving hemodialysis.
Monitor patients during dialysis treatment and report any unusual observations or reactions to medical staff.
Maintain cleanliness and sterility of dialysis machines and work areas.
Record treatment data and patient observations following medical and regulatory standards.
Assist in training patients and caregivers in home dialysis procedures (if applicable).
Ensure proper disposal of medical waste and compliance with infection control protocols.
Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure coordinated patient care.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on dialysis equipment.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
