Responsibilities

Perform routine laboratory tasks including sample preparation, extraction, and purification following established protocols.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable performance.
Conduct quality control checks to maintain integrity and consistency of experimental data.
Collect, record, and manage experimental data accurately using Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and traditional record-keeping methods.
Manage laboratory inventory by monitoring supplies, ordering reagents, and organizing stock to prevent shortages.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment to comply with safety and health regulations.
Assist researchers and faculty in setting up experiments and provide support during laboratory procedures.
Follow all safety guidelines, including handling of hazardous materials and waste disposal.
Ensure precise documentation and labeling of samples and reagents for traceability and reproducibility.
Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the laboratory supervisor promptly.
