Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate medical histories, symptoms, and overall health status.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of Family Medicine.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Develop and implement individualized primary care management plans to meet patients healthcare needs.
- Provide chronic disease management including ongoing monitoring, treatment adjustments, and patient counseling.
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies and urgent health concerns.
- Deliver preventive care services including vaccinations, screenings, and risk assessments.
- Educate patients and their families about health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Prescribe and manage medications judiciously, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
- Stay updated on current medical guidelines and best practices in Family Medicine.
- Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to improving clinical protocols.
