Driver

SiliconWhiz is seeking a reliable and skilled Driver with at least five years of experience to transport employees, clients, and goods safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is proficient in safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance, and understands defensive driving techniques and traffic laws and regulations. This position requires a professional who can ensure timely arrivals and departures while maintaining the vehicle's condition and supporting the company's operational needs. The role demands attentiveness, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to providing excellent service during transit. The driver will be responsible for planning routes, managing schedules, and troubleshooting minor vehicle issues. The candidate should be aged between 40 and 50 years, demonstrating maturity, reliability, and a stable track record of driving experience. This role does not involve managing a team but requires independent work ethic and excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles safely and follow all traffic laws and regulations to protect passengers, cargo, and the vehicle.
Plan and follow efficient routes and schedules to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of vehicles, including checking fuel, tire pressure, oil levels, and lights to ensure optimal operation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle's interior and exterior.
Communicate effectively with management regarding vehicle needs, incidents, or delays during transit.
Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance activities.
Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations while on duty.
Adhere to company policies and procedures related to safety, confidentiality, and conduct.
Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary, ensuring items are handled with care.
Demonstrate defensive driving techniques to prevent accidents and enhance road safety.
