SITE SUPERVISOR – HIGH-RISE CONSTRUCTION

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee and manage construction activities on high-rise building projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily site operations, ensuring that work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage labor, subcontractors, and site teams effectively, along with excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities. The position is full-time and based on-site in either Lahore or Islamabad.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily construction activities at the site, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to project plans.
- Lead and manage labor forces, subcontractors, and site teams to maintain productivity and quality.
- Coordinate work sequences, manpower allocation, materials, and equipment to optimize site operations.
- Ensure all work is executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project instructions.
- Monitor daily progress, workmanship quality, and overall site performance.
- Oversee civil, structural, and finishing works specifically on high-rise projects.
- Collaborate closely with Site Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, and contractors to address project requirements.
- Verify site measurements and supervise accurate work execution.
- Identify site-related issues, delays, and technical challenges, and coordinate practical solutions promptly.
- Ensure proper handling and usage of construction materials to minimize waste and maintain quality.
- Monitor site safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe working practices.
- Maintain detailed daily progress and labor reports for project tracking.
- Follow up on work schedules to ensure timely completion of construction activities.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and discipline at the construction site to promote a professional work environment.

Required Qualifications

- Relevant Civil Engineering qualification as specified below.
- Proven experience in high-rise building construction is mandatory.
- Strong hands-on site supervision experience with a thorough understanding of civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Ability to effectively manage labor and subcontractors.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
- Excellent site coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in Lahore or Islamabad.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should meet one of the following criteria:
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of construction experience.
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering with at least 7 years of construction experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience.

Hands-on experience specifically in high-rise construction projects is essential.

Work Location: This is an in-person role requiring full-time presence at the construction site in Lahore or Islamabad.
