Job Description
The Position
Six Logs requires a Salesforce developer, to join the team at our Karachi office, to work as part of one of our divisions R&D departments. This is a long-term career opportunity, working as part of the Six Logs R&D department working on software development, integration and deployment work focused on the Salesforce {Visualforce/Apex} development platform.
Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of this position are development-focused, and most administrative tasks shall be managed by onshore personnel.
The hired individual will have the opportunity to build his or her team. The position will assist, from time to time, with administrative tasks (such as workflow rules, field updates, email notifications, auto-tasks, email templates, new fields, internal salesforce issues/requests/questions, communicating with salesforce support for open tickets, maintaining Org security, managing users, profiles, roles, and sharing).
Core Qualifications
· BS in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience
· 1-5 years professional software development experience
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Work closely with the rest of the staff and management
· Salesforce Certifications a pus.
Essential Skills
1 - 5 years of application development experience with the Salesforce and force.com platform, including
· Apex and Visualforce
· Lightning Components
· Able to write Bulkify triggers
· Apex unit test creation
· Salesforce sites
· Application architecture
· Security and Permissions
· Usage of JavaScript libraries like jQuery in Visualforce
· Email services
· Salesforce Mobile
· Salesforce reporting and analytics
· Salesforce integrations via API with outside data sources
· Salesforce continuous integration and code management skills
· Salesforce application packaging and deployment (Deployment via Packages and change sets)
· Basic concepts of Salesforce lightning
· Familiarity with data migration tools.
Other helpful experience
· HTML5 development
· MVC .NET development for APIs
· SQL Server, SSIS & SSRS exposure and experience
· Agile development familiarity
