Salesperson

Stationeria is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Salesperson to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in selling items and managing stock efficiently, ensuring customers receive outstanding service throughout their shopping experience. This role does not involve managing a team but requires dedication to maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall store operations. As a Salesperson at Stationeria, you will engage directly with customers, helping them find products and answering their questions with a friendly and professional approach. You will be responsible for keeping shelves stocked, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and inviting shopping environment. Your ability to manage stock levels and track inventory will support the stores goal of providing excellent service while meeting sales targets.
Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide attentive, courteous assistance to help identify their needs and recommend products.
Conduct product sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle cash or card payments responsibly.
Manage stock by receiving deliveries, unpacking items, checking for quality and accuracy, and organizing the store shelves.
Regularly monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages or excess to management to maintain optimal product availability.
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the store, including shelves, displays, and backstock areas.
Assist with product placement and merchandising following company guidelines to enhance product visibility and appeal.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding product information, pricing, and promotions in a timely and professional manner.
Support loss prevention measures by adhering to company policies on theft prevention and security.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.
Contribute to a positive shopping experience by demonstrating product knowledge and enthusiasm.
