Sub Engineer Electrical / Mechanical (PPS-6)

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for a contract position within the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the “Lahore Wastewater and Drainage Management Project (LWDMP) – Sewerage System from Larechs Colony to Gulshan-e-Ravi Lahore (Through Trenchless Technology).” This project is funded by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and aims to enhance the sewerage infrastructure in Lahore. The role requires candidates with relevant technical expertise and experience to support the successful execution and timely completion of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and prepare daily progress reports of site activities, ensuring adherence to approved designs and specifications.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with Consultant and Contractor teams to facilitate smooth workflow and timely project completion.
- Review and verify contractor claims and bills prior to submission to the disbursing authority, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate closely with stakeholders and the general public to address and resolve grievances promptly.
- Develop and review work schedules for various activities to monitor and ensure steady progress.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Project Director (PD) to support project objectives.

Required Qualifications:
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in either the public or private sector, preferably related to infrastructure or construction projects.
