Supertouch Pakistan sells and manufactures hand protection, workwear, PPE, and disposable safety products in the UK and European markets. Supertouch is considered a market leader in its chosen product categories.

Due to increased growth, Supertouch has expanded its manufacturing operations in Pakistan by investing in a state-of-the-art facility to produce high-quality technical workwear.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented “Junior Accountant” to join our finance team. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks to support the smooth operation of our garments factory. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Post journal entries to the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable on a regular basis.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, including raw materials and finished goods.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Support the finance team in conducting internal audits and compliance reviews.
Assist with tax preparation and compliance, including filing sales tax returns and withholding tax statements.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related queries and discrepancies.
Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance department.
Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
2 to 3 years of professional experience in the field of Accounts & Finance.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and software.
Integrity and ethical behavior when handling financial information.
