Job Summary

TAKEOFF Travel & Tours specialises in all aspects of round-the-world travel. As a Senior Travel Consultant, you will put together complex multi-stop round-the-world flight itineraries, fully tailor-made holidays and fully tailor-made round-the-world holidays.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Follow the Consultative Sales Model to drive sales and develop customer relationships
  2. Meet monthly sales targets for income and booking conversion
  3. Create bespoke flight itineraries with the additional land arrangement according to customer requirements
  4. Deliver excellent customer service o responding to customer enquiries promptly
  5. providing customers with descriptive and persuasive covering emails and itineraries
  6. being aware of customer experience facilitating good feedback
  7. Effective organisational skills to manage all stages of the booking cycle
  8. quoting new customers
  9. upselling products throughout the process
  10. making the booking o managing ticketing o answering pre-travel questions
  11. dealing with travel complaints
  12. welcome home calls
  13. Being a considerate team player
  14. assisting colleagues’ customers when absent like they are your own.

Key Measures

  1. Following the Consultative Sales Model
  2. Adhering to company quote and booking procedure
  3. Achieving monthly income targets
  4. 6 monthly reviews of overall sales performance, which can lead to grade promotion
  5. Achieving 6 monthly targets for booking conversion

Job-related education & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors
  2. GDS (Galileo)
  3. Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience:

3-year minimum experience in a sales-based position within the leisure travel industry

Salary Range:

PKR 30,000 - PKR 50,000

  1. Proven track record of monthly sales performance

  6. Ability to calculate pricing based on margins and foreign currencies

Customer Service:

  1. Responding to customers' enquiries promptly
  2. Professional and effective telephone conversations with customers to discuss travel plans, and itineraries in full, making suggestions and providing alternatives
  3. Demonstrating expert product and destination knowledge
  4. Provide customers with well-presented itineraries and descriptive and persuasive covering emails
  5. Be aware of customer experience by welcoming customer feedback
  6. The first point of service for customer complaints
  7. Provide colleagues customers support like they are your own Looks for and find ‘win-win’ solutions in which both sides feel they have gained something

Organisation:

  1. Manage and prioritise all stages of the booking cycle following company values and protecting the brand
  2. Responding to new quote enquiries using
  3. Consultative Sales Model
  4. Create bespoke flight / tailor-made holiday itineraries
  5. Present the customer with a proposed itinerary
  6. Follow up and gain feedback from the customer and modify the itinerary
  7. Confirm booking – taking payment and advice booking terms and conditions Confirm all travel arrangements
  8. Issue flight tickets Manage GDS queue system and other holiday amendments
  9. Handle customer pre and post-travel questions
  10. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail on all quotes and reservations
  11. Welcome home calls upon customers' return

Product and Destination

  3. Attend regular product and destination training sessions
  4. Good grasp of constructing complex long-haul flight itineraries
