Technical Project Manager

Rapidev Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with 7-8 years of relevant experience to join their team onsite at NSTP, NUST, Islamabad. This full-time role operates from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and involves leading the end-to-end execution of electronics, smart energy, and hardware product development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project planning, scheduling, coordination, tracking, and delivery while collaborating closely with engineering, production, supply chain, and customer stakeholders. This position demands strong technical project management skills, effective cross-functional team coordination, and excellent stakeholder communication to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full project lifecycle for electronics, smart energy, and hardware product development, covering requirements gathering, design, verification, production, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, milestones, and timelines using MS Project or similar tools.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including hardware, embedded systems, engineering, and production to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage ongoing customer communications, providing updates, coordinating order execution, delivery, and post-delivery support.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to monitor procurement, supplier activities, deliveries, and logistics both locally and internationally.
- Support BOM finalization, cost estimation, and order execution in partnership with technical and operational teams.
- Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure timely planning and delivery of project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, technical reports, progress updates, status reports, and program reviews for management and stakeholders.
- Oversee R&D initiatives to align with project timelines, delivery expectations, and business priorities.
- Facilitate resolution of customer complaints and post-delivery issues by coordinating with engineering, technical, and production teams.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 7–8 years of relevant experience in technical project management, electronics, hardware product development, or similar engineering environments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading or coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong expertise in technical project management, cross-functional team coordination, and customer/stakeholder management.
- Solid understanding of electronics and hardware product development lifecycle including design, integration, verification, production, and delivery.
- Proven skills in project planning, scheduling, risk and issue management, delivery oversight, and resource coordination.
- Experience managing supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, production, BOM, costing, and order execution processes.
- Proficient in technical reporting, project documentation, and R&D program coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Project or equivalent project management software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is a strong advantage.

- Ability to track technical progress closely with engineering and technical leads.
- Strong customer-facing communication and program coordination skills.
