Job Description

  • Overall responsible for managing the human resource function;
  • Responsible for recruitment process  including identification of vacant positions, advertisement, short-listing of candidates, arranging the interviews, issuing offer letters to successful candidates;
  • Arranging orientation sessions for new inducts;
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintaining a data base of all employees;
  • Ensure the completeness and security of employee’s data/record;
  • Developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Administration of employee evaluations (i.e. monthly, quarterly and annually).
  • Undertaking regular salary reviews.
  • Managing absence, disciplinarians, grievances, sickness, salaries etc.
  • Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement.
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • To interpret and communicate laws and regulations to the personnel of other sections to make sure that the organisation emains up to date on legal matters affecting its operations;
  • To act as a representative of HR at various meetings and act as an advisor to senior management on matters that involve human resource considerations;
  • Submission of reports to senior management on human resources related issues;
  • Conducting exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.
