The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities for the company.
This includes developing and executing a sales plan, generating leads, building relationships with potential customers, and negotiating contracts.
The Business Development Officer must have a strong understanding of the facility management industry and be able to effectively communicate the company`s value proposition to potential customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve quarterly and annual goals
- Generate new leads through a variety of channels, including networking, cold calling, and email marketing
- Build relationships with potential customers and qualify their interest in the company`s services
- Negotiate contracts and close new business
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
- Provide support to the sales team as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s degree in business or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sales or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the facility management industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
