We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Telephone Operator based in Rawalpindi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing calls, operating the switchboard, and ensuring that callers are promptly and accurately connected to the appropriate departments or contacts. This role requires a professional and courteous approach to greeting callers, handling general inquiries, taking and relaying messages, and providing basic information when necessary. Additionally, the Telephone Operator will document call details, maintain updated contact lists, and escalate issues to relevant teams as needed. Collaboration with customer support and operations staff is essential to maintain smooth communication flows and uphold service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multi-line incoming and outgoing calls efficiently using the switchboard system.
- Greet callers professionally and handle general inquiries with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Accurately take and relay messages to the appropriate personnel or departments.
- Provide basic information to callers as required.
- Document call details and maintain updated contact lists to ensure accurate records.
- Escalate issues or urgent calls to relevant teams promptly.
- Collaborate with customer support and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to company policies and standards.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong phone etiquette and customer support skills to manage calls professionally and maintain a positive caller experience.
- Proficiency in operating switchboards and managing multi-line phone systems to route calls accurately.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including clear articulation and active listening.
- Basic computer literacy with the ability to use call management or CRM software effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Prior experience in a call center, reception, or telephone operator role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Additional training or certification in customer service is considered an advantage.
