As a Fashion & Textile Designer managing a team of six, the candidate will lead and inspire designers and production staff, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to design guidelines and production standards. This role demands comprehensive knowledge of textile and surface design techniques, leadership in coordinating team efforts, and active involvement in quality control to deliver high-caliber products that meet industry excellence standards.
Responsibilities

Lead the creation and development of innovative fashion and textile designs that align with current trends and company objectives.
Coordinate technical design aspects including fabric selection, pattern making, and product development to ensure feasibility and quality.
Manage the production process from concept through delivery, ensuring consistency with design specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate closely with the head of the department to assist in planning and executing creative projects and departmental strategies.
Supervise and mentor a team of six design and production professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Maintain quality control throughout the design and production stages, ensuring all products meet rigorous standards.
Multitask effectively to manage concurrent design projects, meeting deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and quality assurance teams to facilitate smooth production operations.
Continuously research and apply new textile technologies and surface design innovations to improve product offerings.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and sustainability initiatives in all production activities.
