Tropical Software Solutions is actively seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with at least three years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as the critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams, interpreting and transforming business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements. You will be responsible for conducting discovery sessions, gathering and analyzing complex business requirements, and preparing detailed documentation such as user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams using BPMN. This role requires effective collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize project backlogs and ensure seamless communication regarding project progress and updates.
You will also play an essential role in enhancing business processes by analyzing workflows and data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities. Managing and guiding a small team of two professionals, you will facilitate user acceptance testing and support the technical development team in delivering scalable, efficient solutions. Your ability to manage cross-functional coordination and maintain an organized approach will be key to driving project success and meeting business objectives at Tropical Software Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed discovery sessions with business stakeholders to elicit and document comprehensive business requirements.
- Translate gathered requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams (BPMN) to guide the technical development team.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to manage, prioritize, and refine project backlogs for agile development cycles.
- Coordinate regular communication with stakeholders to provide timely project updates and ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios and guiding users through the validation of developed solutions.
- Analyze business processes, workflows, and data to detect operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Work alongside technical teams to convert business needs into scalable and efficient technical solutions that drive organizational growth.
- Manage and support a team of two Business Analysts, ensuring knowledge sharing, task delegation, and team productivity.
- Maintain a structured and detail-oriented approach to requirement documentation and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in scrum meetings and agile ceremonies to promote continuous collaboration and iterative development.
